Mansour Group
The
Mansour Group is one of Egypt’s most respected and successful business empires, with a legacy built on vision, resilience, and innovation. What began in the 1950s as a cotton trading company founded by the late Loutfy Mansour has grown into a global conglomerate operating across a wide range of industries—from automotive and consumer goods to retail, food production, technology, and financial services.
The group's transformation began in the 1970s, as Egypt embraced an open-market economy. In 1975, Mansour Group secured exclusive distribution rights for General Motors in Egypt, setting the stage for decades of growth. Soon after, it established Mantrac, the official Caterpillar dealer, and later invested in the country’s first private automotive manufacturing facility.
Driven by a spirit of diversification, Mansour Group expanded into food and beverage through its SECLAM dairy and juice factory, and pure bottled water under the Hayat brand. It became the national franchisee for McDonald’s Egypt in 1994 and introduced major international brands like Red Bull, Ferrero, and L’Oréal to the Egyptian market through its distribution arm, Al Mansour for Trading & Distribution. The group also developed the country’s leading retail chains—Metro Market and Kheir Zaman—serving millions of customers nationwide.
With a presence in over 100 countries and more than 60,000 employees worldwide, Mansour Group stands as a symbol of Egyptian enterprise on the global stage. Beyond business, the group is committed to making a difference—whether through sustainable business practices, its philanthropic initiatives, or its deep investment in Egypt’s future through the Mansour Foundation for Development.
From its humble beginnings to its global footprint, the Mansour Group remains true to the values of its founder: integrity, innovation, and impact.
